Last Day in the Rockies
It has been a couple of days since we posted because it has been pretty much more of the same.
Heart of America is now in the books. A significantly shorter trip than our Pacific Coast trip but a good one nonetheless. We travelled 3588 miles over two months through Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. We also stepped into Utah and Arizona thanks to a day trip to the 4 corners. 5 more national parks are also off the buckets list as we saw Great Dunes, Mesa Verde, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Rocky Mountains and White Sands. This trip took a mere 585 gallons of push water and added 76 hours of drive time to my resumé. Already planning the next one- The Lower East Coast trip scheduled for 2025.
