Whidbey Island Day Trip

Well it has been a few days since I have posted a blog. After the whirlwind trip to San Antonio, San Angelo and the DFW kerfuffle, we took a couple of days to just chill out and recoup. We have been staying around the RV Park and venturing off occasionally to hike some nearby State Parks. Nothing crazy just long dog walks basically. Today was the first day we actually took a full day trip. We took the ferry to Whidbey Island which is just North of Seattle in the Puget Sound. On our drive we visited Possession State Park, Ft Casey State Park and Deception Pass State Park and had lunch in Coupeville at Sunshine Drip. Not too many great photos as we spent a lot of time driving and sight seeing. The bridge at Deception Pass, which is normally a photo op, was under construction so we missed that opportunity. We got a little carried away and drove to Anacortes before turning back South Whidbey where we were dropped off. Was overall a great day of sight seeing.
