After a night in Roswell, we headed North yesterday to Santa Fe, NM where we are staying at Sante Fe Skies RV Park. This is the same park we stopped at in 2016 on our way to Colorado. The price has gone up nearly 75%!!! I don’t think it worth the new price so if we come here again, we will need to find other accommodations. I hope this is not a sign to come for our future stays.

Yesterday we drove into town for a Mexican dinner at Marias Mexican Kitchen. Twas okay. Enchiladas good but beans and rice need work. We drove back in a torrential downpour and enjoyed an evening indoors listening to the rain. Nice have a thunderstorm without hail and tornadoes.

Today we took in Olde Downtown Sante Fe. Myra wanted to visit a couple of old churches, which we did. The cathedral basilica of St Francis of Assisi and the Loretto Chapel. We then enjoyed some lunch at Plaza Cafe and shopping followed by a trip to the Botanical Gardens. Desert plants……..shoulda thought that one through. :/. Dinner at the RV tonight. Tomorrow we have plans to eat at Coyote Cafe and may meet up with a my 2nd Cousin Pam.
