Todays Leg took us to Hilo on the big island of Hawai’i where our first real excursion was attended. We took the bus tour to the Volcanos National Park to mark another NP off the list. I must admit, the park was not what I expected. I assumed we would be able to walk on the actual dried lava much nearer to the volcano from where we were and actually view some lava flow. A bit naive perhaps. It is a nice park but one I will probably not be back to anytime soon unless it were at night when the stars and Milky Way were visible. On the health issue, I am feeling much better and able to enjoy the time aboard the Pride of America
