Today we went on our first excursion of the trip. Since yesterday our sunset at the crater tour was cancelled do to high winds, we had the opportunity to visit Maui’s local hospital. You had to have a minimum of heart palpitations or abdominal pains to enter and I qualified with the latter and was able to tour the facility for 4 1/2 hours. After an interesting day, I left with an official souvenir diagnosis of diverticulitis. Yay!!!. Doctor suggested clear liquids which I have passed off to by bartender and so will only received gin or vodka beverages. Tonight we sail to Hilo where hopefully we can go on our only other excursion, the volcano national park. Fingers crossed
