Our second travel day and we are in Van Horn, Texas. For those from here, Im sorry. We got some more foul weather blowing in today so will be hunkered down until tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will improve for our longest leg to Arizona.
Review: We stayed at the Van Horn RV Park. We stayed for one night in April while passing through. This is a good park if you’re doing the same thing. It is right off the interstate and close to all that Van Horn has to offer – such as it is. The staff was friendly however I did have a small complaint. We booked this site way too far in advance and they changed the company who handles the online booking. We paid 45 for the night and the rate at the park was around 35 when we stayed there. No offer for a refund. I understand the old company took them for quite a few booking fees so I didn’t press the issue. The lots are fairly level and all gravel. We had no neighbors to speak of when we visited. We camped at Van Horn RV Park in a Motorhome.

So excited about your trip, share all the must 👀 places so we will know where to go when we head west.
Will do Becky. We’ll have to swap stories when we are able. If in CA, the Island Packers Wildlife Cruise is pretty memorable.
