Listening to my gut and not my pride, we decided to head inland for the trip to Ft. Bragg rather than stay on the 1. We drove to Santa Rosa then got on the 101 to 128 to make our back over to the PCH. It was an extremely beautiful drive on the 128. Many wineries and some beautiful Redwood areas before we were back on HWY 1 just South of Mendecino. Pomo RV park is a great park. Although the neighbors are not far, all the trees and brush back each lot very secluded. Not much in way of tech up here. Only one bar on the phone if that and the wifi is very slow. Ill probably wait until better reception before posting more pictures.
RV Park Review: One of my favorite parks of this trip. What set the park off from others is the way the camps are setup with lots of brush and trees to divide you from your neighbors. Its location is close to beautiful seashore. The park is mostly gravel and easy to navigate and the spaces are plenty big for larger RV’s. They don’t accept credit cards and the connectivity is not good but this did not pose an issue but might for those unable to live off the grid. We camped at Pomo RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
