Leg 13 got underway about 10:50 this morning in what was rapidly becoming a hot day in Branson. We did not, however, avoid the same in Lake Fort Smith State Park where the temperature is 91 with a heat index of about 101. Nobody in San Angelo feeling sorry for us I know but will acclimate us for what’s to come.

Dont have too much in the way of connection at this site so pictures will need to wait till Saturday. My phone is getting some LTE coverage but that’s it.

Plan for today is just hang out at the park and enjoy the outdoors from inside an air conditioned RV. They have a lake cruise tomorrow so we may try and get tickets for that.

Update 7/14: As with a lot of the US, we kinda got stuck in some weather so have not had the chance to get out and do too much. We did take a trip around the lake yesterday but that was about it. Storms all night and predicted to rain all day today may keep us at camp. Not complaining about the down time
